Good Vibes, Good Nails

Good Vibes, Good Nails

Hello again beauties!

I don’t know about you but this sun has got me feeling some kind of way… #positivevibes kind of thing. Because of this, I’m feeling super mega productive and excited about things that are coming up later on this year. Having good nails always helps with this!

One of those things being the fact that I am getting a window in my bedroom soon! If you know me, you will know that I haven’t had a window in my room for approx. 6-7 months… this is down to loads of reasons, main reason being that I live in a listed building which means that the window has to be made exactly the same as it was before. However, I walked into my house the other day and the window was sat there… should be fitted and painted by the next week or so! And I can’t flipping wait because I have missed daylight in my little cave. I love white, bright spaces (my whole room is white with mirrors EVERYWHERE to make it brighter.) Once it has all been done, I will do a post to show you all!

Back to this post…

Nails. Everyone has them, and if you’re like me, a set of acrylics and freshly painted nails are the best thing in the world – minus the thin, broken, dry and brittle nail bed that gets left over. This is why falsies are the best – not only are they less damaging to your nails, but they are also a fraction of the price and you can take them off and change them WHENEVER you want!

These nails are from New Look beauty and they’re great. Ive had them on for a week now and they haven’t budged! At £3.99 I can’t fault them at all. You get 24 nails in loads of sizes, and a decent nail glue. These are a rose-nude matte colour in a coffin shape and they look divine. If you’re a plain Jane like me they’re great because they’re bang on trend and go with everything.

Here they are! As you can see, I adapted them to make them a bit more ‘me’. Hello Rose Gold. haha. This is a nail varnish by Morgan Taylor called Bronzed and Beautiful and its probably one of the nicest formulas I have ever used, lasts ages and goes on really nicely! Anyway, that is all for today. Sorry it’s a bit random, but I feel like false nails are underrated so I wanted to give them a little shoutout! Let me know what you think!
